Brick

Bristol’s brickmaking industry was established in the late 17th century. The rapid growth of the City in the 18th and 19th centuries led to a proliferation of small brickworks in the areas with suitable deposits of clay on the city fringes. The following list includes a selection of companies that were active in Easton area in the 19th century.
